If you are updating your Reference Sensor Bracket or have the updated bracket (944/968 85.5-95) you will need to use this Sleeve.

Features

If you replace the starter on a 1986 or eariler 944 you will also need this update sleeve and the bracket.
The new starters can cause a kick back without this sleeve.
The kick back is a result of the new starters causing electric interference with the reference sensor.
