The Pagid 2405 pad shape is used many Porsche models and may be either a front or rear pad depending on the application. More professional race teams use Pagid pads and any other brand of racing brake pads. Compounds to suit any track or driving style. Consistent performance is what drivers love about Pagid pads. Paragon products is a Master Warehouse Distributor for Pagid Race Pads so we have the pad shapes and compounds you want. Now available in the new RSC compound for use with factory ceramic (PCCB) rotors. The RSC 1 compound is a sprint race and track day compound that features an ideal combination of cold friction, fade resistance and low thermal oxidation of the disc surface fibers. The new RST 3 is a metal-ceramic compound that provides medium to high friction with good initial bite, excellent modulation and release characteristics. Fade resistant up to 800 degrees Celsius.

SPECIAL -
Each axle set of Pagid Race or "S" Sport pads you can add one liter of ATE TYP200 or a 500ml Motul 600 brake fluid for a $1. If you prefer you can choose no brake fluid at all.
Pagid Racing Brake Pads 2405
Features
  • Pagid "S" or "Sport" - This is a high performance compound with good fading characteristics and high cold friction. The most comfortable medium friction sport compound. The Sport Pad is street legal, rotor friendly and OE on various Ferraris and Corvettes. PAGID "S" Brake Pads are dipped in a anti-corrosion blue paint, with a layer also on the friction surface. This paint coating will disintegrate during the first braking applications without any loss of friction compared to our other non-coated compounds. In addition a majority of the "S" Line come with anti-noise shims. The "S" compound is the PAGID RS 4-2-1.

  • RS-14-Black - This is a high friction value ceramic compound with very good modulation, high fade resistance, low heat conductivity, and a good wear rate up to a constant temperature of 650 degrees Celsius (1202 degrees Fahrenheit). It is kind on discs, (with visible grooving, but no tendency to crack discs). Applications: Super Touring, WSC, Trans Am, and Rallye.

  • RS-15 Gray - Very high torque compound. It combines a 20% higher friction value than the RS14 with a slightly increased pad wear. Needs finesse to avoid over braking the car. Good release characteristic. Although the RS15 has a very good modulation (controllability) it might have an excessive bite for some applications, as lightweight cars or cars with boosted brakes.

  • RS-19 Yellow - Best compound for endurance racing on the basis of the RS 14. A slight reduction of the friction value improves the modulation (controllability). Nevertheless, the friction value is enough for cars without power-assisted brake system and ensures comfortable low effort on the brake pedal. Constant temperatures up to 600°C (1.100°F) are possible. The combination of friction value, fading stability and low wear rates on pads and discs (rotors) realized with this pad compound is unmatched up to now. Due to its outstanding wear rate and driveability PAGID endurance materials are often used at sprint races as well. A multiple winner of Daytona 24h, Le Mans 24h, Sebring 12h, Spa 24 h, Nürburgring 24h, often with no pad change and usually no disc (rotor) change.

  • RS-29 Yellow - New endurance compound. This compound combines the outstanding wear rate of the RS19 with a slightly higher coefficient of friction and initial bite. Due to its outstanding wear rate and driveability PAGID endurance materials are often used at sprint races as well.

  • RS-44-Orange - This compound has a very good fade resistance and a higher average friction value than the RS 4-2. It is rotor friendly with a very foreseeable non-aggressive friction behavior (stable torque). It is a very good rear compound for Touring Car applications in combination with RS 14 front pads. It’s main application is Porsche 911 racing. It is used on either Short Track or Long Distance; also for front and rear axles.

RSC 1: Sprint race and track day compound for Porsche ceramic brake discs. This friction material gives you the ideal combination of cold friction performance, fade resistance and low thermal oxidation of the brake disc surface fibers.

RST 3: This is a medium to high friction metal/ceramic type compound with good initial bite and excellent modulation and release characteristics. Medium torque and fade resistant up to 800 degrees Celsius. The RST 3 has the lowest thermal conductivity of the RST lineup.

RSL 1: Long distance/endurance compound with very good pad and disc wear, as well as friction stability vs. temperature. Low pedal effort, slightly progressive in-stop behavior but still good modulation.

4 of 5 Great, flexible, fast service January 11, 2024
Reviewer: Philip Hallenbeck from TONEY, AL United States
Needed pads fast, but RS14 was unavailable for my 911.  Paragon immediately recommended the roughly-equivalent RST3, and followed through with fast shipping and delivery.  Well done!
Haven't gotten on the track yet with 'em, but with the name Pagid and the friction graph I see, there's no reason to believe they'll be anything less than superlative.
